Photography has always been part of my life. I grew up in a family of photographers and I am proud to be the third generation to carry it on. Being surrounded by cameras and film from such a young age shaped how I see the world and naturally led me to documenting real moments in an honest timeless way. Photography is not just what I do it is who I am.

My approach to weddings is relaxed editorial and story led. I focus on capturing moments as they naturally unfold while gently stepping in when needed to guide you in a way that always feels comfortable and effortless. Nothing forced or overly posed just natural movement real emotion and a calm presence throughout the day. I want you to feel completely at ease and able to enjoy your wedding while I document it as it truly felt.

Film photography plays a big part in my work and ties deeply into my story with photography. Film has a timeless quality and softness that feels honest and emotive and it fits perfectly with my editorial style. It slows things down and allows moments to breathe creating images that feel nostalgic yet modern and will never date.

When it comes to editing I keep everything true to colour and timeless so your photos feel just as meaningful years from now as they do today. My goal is always to create a collection of images that feel genuine natural and full of life capturing your day exactly as it was.

FAQ

How do you photograph weddings?

I prefer to blend into the background- I don't want to get in your way or take up too much of your time instructing you on how to pose! I like to capture natural, relaxed interactions between the bride and groom and guests as I think they make the most beautiful photos! However, I understand the significance of having formal 'posed' photos and I am also very happy to facilitate these.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I live in the quaint little town of Portaferry, County Down. I love to travel so if you would like me to photograph your big day, it may require a travel fee, depending on the distance and accommodation costs. I will always try to find the most cost-efficient way to keep the travel fee as low as possible.

Can you hold my date?

I can only hold your date after I have received your deposit and the contract signed.

Do you need a deposit?

Yes, to secure the date you'll need to pay a £300 deposit and the remaining balance should be paid a month before the wedding date.

How many pictures will we receive?

For full-day coverage of your wedding, you will receive between 500 to 700 fully edited images.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery where you can download all your photos within 6-8 weeks.

Can I add a second photographer?

Yes! If you would like to add a second shooter, let me know and I can arrange a quote for this.

What if I don’t like having my photo taken?

So many people feel this way before their wedding day but there really is no need! I promise I won't be pointing a camera in your face all day! Most of the time you will hardly notice I am taking photos! I recommend all my couples have a pre-wedding photoshoot beforehand as this way we can get to know each other and it helps you feel much more comfortable in front of the camera on the day.

What if it rains on our wedding day?

Don't worry I have an umbrella!
All jokes aside, whether it rains, shines, or snows - your wedding will be the most beautiful day and so will your photos! Rain is something that you have to be prepared for in Ireland and we will make the most out of whatever the day brings! It may mean some quick snaps with an umbrella, finding a shaded corner or staying cosy inside your beautiful venue.
Whatever happens, we will make it work!
