Timeless Photography
Capturing light, feelings, moments
and all the things in between.
Photography has always been a part of my life—it’s in my blood. Coming from a family of photographers, I’m proud to be the third generation carrying on this craft. Growing up surrounded by cameras, film, and storytelling, I naturally found my passion in capturing real moments that stand the test of time. Photography isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am.
I take a storytelling approach to wedding photography, focusing on capturing real moments as they unfold. While I prioritize a natural and unobtrusive style, I also step in to gently direct when needed—ensuring you feel comfortable and your photos reflect the best version of your day. I’m open-minded and always excited to try new ideas, whether it’s a unique location, creative composition, or something completely outside the box. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you can be fully present while I document the emotions, details, and connections that make your day unique.
When it comes to editing, I keep things timeless and true to colour—ensuring your photos remain authentic and beautiful for years to come. My goal is to create a collection of images that feel as genuine as the memories themselves, preserving the atmosphere and emotions of your wedding day just as they were.

35 mm Film Photography:
A Timeless Experience
One of the most special ways to preserve memories is through film photography. There’s something truly magical about the depth, texture, and timeless quality of film—it captures light, colour, and emotion in a way that digital simply can’t replicate. Having your wedding photographs taken on film adds an extra layer of uniqueness and nostalgia, creating images that feel both classic and deeply personal. In a world that moves so fast, film slows things down, making every frame intentional and meaningful.
That’s why I’m so excited to now offer film coverage as part of my wedding photography! Whether it’s a few select moments or a full film experience, this medium brings a distinctive, artistic feel to your wedding gallery. If you’re curious about adding film to your wedding day, just reach out—I’d love to chat more about it!
How it works...
When you add 35mm film to your wedding package you get complete digital coverage as well as some moments throughout the day on film. The goal is to use film to enhance the storytelling of your digital files. I love getting out the retro flash and am constantly developing and expanding how I utilize this tool during a wedding.
As far as film type, my go-to is Portra 400 or 160 as it seems to pair with my digital photography the best. I also find the tones to be the nicest.
The film type is really up to you though, you can decide if you prefer colour, black and white or both. There's also the option of converting the colour images to black and white.
All images are professionally developed, processed and delivered digitalized to your wedding gallery.
You will receive the final scanned images from the negatives in high resolution in jpeg.
FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I prefer to blend into the background- I don't want to get in your way or take up too much of your time instructing you on how to pose! I like to capture natural, relaxed interactions between the bride and groom and guests as I think they make the most beautiful photos! However, I understand the significance of having formal 'posed' photos and I am also very happy to facilitate these.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I live in the quaint little town of Portaferry, County Down. I love to travel so if you would like me to photograph your big day, it may require a travel fee, depending on the distance and accommodation costs. I will always try to find the most cost-efficient way to keep the travel fee as low as possible.
Can you hold my date?
I can only hold your date after I have received your deposit and the contract signed.
Do you need a deposit?
Yes, to secure the date you'll need to pay a £300 deposit and the remaining balance should be paid a month before the wedding date.
How many pictures will we receive?
For full-day coverage of your wedding, you will receive between 500 to 700 fully edited images.
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery where you can download all your photos within 6-8 weeks.
Can I add a second photographer?
Yes! If you would like to add a second shooter, let me know and I can arrange a quote for this.
What if I don’t like having my photo taken?
So many people feel this way before their wedding day but there really is no need! I promise I won't be pointing a camera in your face all day! Most of the time you will hardly notice I am taking photos! I recommend all my couples have a pre-wedding photoshoot beforehand as this way we can get to know each other and it helps you feel much more comfortable in front of the camera on the day.
What if it rains on our wedding day?
Don't worry I have an umbrella!
All jokes aside, whether it rains, shines, or snows - your wedding will be the most beautiful day and so will your photos! Rain is something that you have to be prepared for in Ireland and we will make the most out of whatever the day brings! It may mean some quick snaps with an umbrella, finding a shaded corner or staying cosy inside your beautiful venue.
Whatever happens, we will make it work!
